Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens

It’s a wild world of Zoo wonders for kindergarten students as they experience the exciting KinderZOO program! Students will go behind the scenes to ZooLab where live animals will help them understand how books and other media portray animals with characteristics and behaviors they don’t have in real life. Students will also observe how their adaptations make them different from one another.
 


 

Epcot: Discovering Marine Life Conservation

Grade: 3rd

3rd graders will participate in an interactive field study as they play the role of marine conservationists to learn about the difficulties facing aquatic animals in the wild and ways they can help them. Students will practice their observational skills to identify a variety of fish species, as well as predators and prey. Students will also team up to brainstorm creative solutions for protecting our oceans and marine life.
 


 

Kennedy Space Center

Grade: 6th

Meet an Astronaut! 6th graders will visit the Kennedy Space Center for a space journey from the dawn of space exploration to current and ongoing missions to get an up-close, hands-on feel for the story of humans in space! Students will visit Mission Zones, which are grouped attractions and experiences reflecting specific periods of time and achievements. Their journey awaits!

Orlando Sea Life Aquarium

Grade: 1st

1st graders will encounter a vast array of sea creatures including sea turtles, sharks, rays and learn how to make the oceans a better place through the "Breed. Rescue. Protect." conservation program. Students will admire thousands of sea creatures and hundreds of species in a highly themed, immersive setting, gaze at creatures swimming in the 360-degree ocean tunnel and take part in the interactive Touchpool Experience where they can touch a sea star or sea anemone!


 

St. Augustine Discovery Tour

Grade: 4th

4th graders will explore the oldest city in the United States on a Discovery Tour to learn about the first settlers to St. Augustine and the powerful Spanish influence that still exists today. This historical adventure has a narrated Old Town Trolley tour ride, a tour of the Castillo de San Marcos Fort and two museum tours! The Castillo de San Marcos Fort guarded this ancient city against foreign invaders and is the oldest European fort of its kind still standing.


 

Bone Valley Adventure

Grade: 7th
Florida’s Geologic History, Paleontology and Endangered Ecosystems

On this 2-day/1-night adventure, 7th graders will visit Highlands Hammock State Park, one of Florida’s oldest parks and travel to Arcadia and wade into the Joshua Creek, to hunt for fossils and Native American Artifacts, and canoe along the Peace River. Students will spend the night at Camp Cloverleaf, 4H Camp, Lake Placid, in air-conditioned cabins, and enjoy a campfire with storytelling and spirit creature game!

Legoland

Grade: 2nd

2nd graders will participate in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) field studies to obtain applied learning on life-sized machines! Students will engage in hands-on and entertaining educational experiences aligned with Florida Standards, and complete pre-/post-visit worksheets that will help them full experience how  science, technology, engineering and math impacts life at Legoland!
 


 

Crystal River Manatee Encounter

Grade: 5th

5th graders will travel to Crystal River to encounter the friendly Florida Manatee in its natural habitat while learning about manatee history, habitat, behavior, anatomy and laws affecting these gentle giants! The adventure starts with a video presentation and continues on to a boat ride and snorkeling! Students will learn and have fun on this experience of a lifetime seeing the Florida Manatee up close.
 


 

Washington, D.C.

Grade: 8th

During this 5-day/4-night trip for 8th graders to Washington D.C., students will spend time interacting with their peers from across the country. They will visit DC’s famous sites including: Capitol Hill, the National Archives, Smithsonian Museums, Arlington Cemetery, and much more. This is sure to be a fun and exciting experience that will provide lifelong memories for our students! The first 10 students to place a $100 deposit through K12 Payment Center will receive 5% off the total trip cost!
